Did you know?

Pregnant women have a higher chance of contracting COVID-19 due to changes in their immune systems, so it is essential that they seek medical care early if tell-tale symptoms arise. On a brighter note, researchers still don't know whether a pregnant woman with COVID-19 can pass the virus down to their baby, but to this day, the virus hasn't been found in amniotic fluid or breastmilk so it is safe to breastfeed. Statistics have also shown that many mothers with COVID-19 have given birth to completely healthy babies. Nonetheless, please keep yourself and your baby safe by following all precautions, washing your hands, and avoiding crowded places.
