Acne may arise at any point during pregnancy since androgen levels, and the resulting increased oil production, increase early on in pregnancy. Androgen levels are particularly high during the third trimester so if you are dealing with pregnancy acne, expect it to be especially bad during this period. Note that some acne products contain chemicals that are considered unsafe during pregnancy, so be careful what you put onto your skin.
