Minute yoga: simple pose to fight constipation

Simple yoga poses that work as a natural remedy for constipation — one of the most common pregnancy symptoms.

Preparation
Find a space that is large enough for you to stand with your legs apart, with enough room above that you can lift both your arms up straight.

Follow these four steps:

Yoga for symptoms: Constipation
Step 1: Stand with your legs far apart, turn your right foot outward to the right, and keep your hands on your waist. Then, slowly bend your right knee. Keep your torso facing front, and lead the movement with your hip. Do this 5 times.

Step 2: After repeating the position 5 times, keep your right knee bent and slowly lift your arms straight up. Stay in this position while breathing in and out calmly 5 times.

Step 3: Stand with your legs far apart, turn your left foot outward to the left, and keep your hands on your waist. Then, slowly bend your left knee, Keep your torso facing front, and lead the movement with your hip. Do this 5 times.

Step 4: After repeating the position 5 times, keep your left knee bent and slowly lift your arms straight up. Stay in this position while breathing in and out calmly 5 times. 

Keep in mind that you need to be extra careful during any form of exercise. If any pose makes you feel pressure or pain, do not continue with it.
