2 weeks pregnant
Updates
Ovulation may occur this week, which means that you are going to get pregnant very soon.
Ovulation: Ovulation means that an egg is released from the ovary. Once you ovulate, the egg begins to travel to the fallopian tube to wait for that lucky and hard-working sperm that wins the race against a million others. This doesn’t necessarily occur right in the middle of your cycle. It could happen any time between days 7 and 21 as the normal menstrual cycle varies from 21 to 35 days.
Your development
You’re most likely to get pregnant if you have sex within a day or so of your ovulation.
Check the mucus: Since there is a link between cervical mucus and ovulation, you can check your cervical mucus every day so you can start to see the patterns — this helps you to estimate the day you are most likely to ovulate.
What you can do now?
For your body to be perfectly ready to conceive Your Child, you can supplement your diet with folic acid. A large body of research has shown that folic acid has health benefits for expecting women and their babies, including reducing the risk of heart defects, gestational diabetes, and preterm labor. If you’re taking some medications, consult your doctor or pharmacist to know whether they are safe to use during pregnancy.
