A healthy diet is important when you're pregnant. Eating healthily will help #baby to grow and develop. Although the main source of your vitamins and nutrients should be from fruits, vegetables, fish, nuts, and seeds, continue taking your prenatal supplements to complement the nutrients from your healthy diet. If a mother eats a wide variety of things during pregnancy, the baby will learn to appreciate different tastes and will become a less fussy eater later in life. When a baby gets inadequate or poor nutrients, the physiology adapts to it, a process known as fetal programming. Researchers have found that this can result in health problems, such as obesity, heart conditions, and diabetes, later in life.
