Some women experience changes in their cycle after childbirth, so a period tracker might be helpful. Note that the exact time the menstrual period resumes after birth varies from woman to woman and depends on the regularity of breastfeeding. It can be as early as between 6 weeks and 3 months postpartum for mothers who do not breastfeed, to more than 3 months for mothers who breastfeed, or in some cases, after they stop breastfeeding.
