Before you start your search, you need to know what you want in a nanny. Do you want someone who only puts your kid in front of the TV, or do you look for someone who can play with your little Your Child and read out stories to them so as to increase the little one's vocabulary and language skills? As part of the interview process, have the candidate play with Your Child and see how he/she/ interacts with your child. Request for references and call up the last 2 families he/she worked for to find out more about his/her abilities.
