Between 18 to 25 weeks into your pregnancy, you will begin to feel the movement of your baby. How a baby is moving may help identify potential problems, so you need to start counting the kicks. Start by finding the time when your baby is usually most active. During that time, stay in a comfortable position and start counting the kicks. The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends that you check how long it takes to feel 10 kicks. You want to feel, at least, 10 movements within 2 hours. You will likely feel 10 movements in less time than that.
