Did you know?

Anemia is a medical condition in which there are not enough healthy red blood cells to carry oxygen through your body. If that happens you experience symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, irregular heartbeat, or cold hands. Anemia during pregnancy is common and a concern as it is associated with low birth weight and maternal mortality. As anemia is often caused by iron-deficiency, consume iron supplements or iron-rich foods such as dialy products, eggs, nuts, seeds, beans, lentils, meat, and dark green vegetables.
