Smiles spontaneously

Your Child starts smiling spontaneously at you, friends, and even strangers.

At this stage, children have learned that smiling brings them and others positive feelings, so they smile… often. You may also notice that Your Child’s sweet smile will start attracting others around them to interact with your little one.

How to support this development
Allow Your Child to interact with new people under your supervision and encouragement. This is a good opportunity for your baby to learn about relationships and realize that if they are friendly and smile, most people will be happy, be friendly, and smile back.

Note: All children develop differently and at their own pace. For children born preterm, the referred timeframe for achieving the various developmental milestones might be incorrect.
