Water is the best. Water helps carry the nutrients from the food you eat to your baby and supports the development.
Walter also can help prevent constipation, hemorrhoids, excessive swelling, and urinary tract or bladder infections.
What to drink:
It is recommended to drink 10 cups (ca. 2.5 liters) of fluids a day.
- Plain drinking water
- Mineral water
- Soda water
- Water with slices of fruits such as lime or lemon
- Fruit juice, no sugar added
What to drink with consideration:
- Soft drinks
- Drinks are high in sugar that can cause weight gain.
What to avoid:
Untreated water can be contaminated and contain disease-causing bacteria, as well as viruses and parasites.

- Spring, river and streams water
