Getting plenty of water is essential during pregnancy. It helps carry nutrients through your body to Your Child, helps maintain healthy levels of amniotic fluid, and can even help prevent bladder infections, constipation, and swelling, which are common complaints during pregnancy. You should drink at least 10 glasses of water a day, ideally more. Limit sweet drinks and drinks that contain caffeine (tea and coffee), as these affect your growing Your Child. Never drink alcohol during pregnancy; it severely damages the brain of little Your Child.
